Anti Ragging Committee

Dayapuram Arts and Science College for Women has an Anti-ragging Committee which comprises senior faculty members and representatives from students. The anti-ragging committee works with the aim to achieve a ragging free campus.

Purpose

To make students understand about the importance of "Ragging free Campus"
To organize various programmes to create awareness among the students
To make sure that there are no issues related to ragging in the campus
To develop an efficient monitoring system for the students to register complaints

Anti-Sexual Harassment Cell

The Internal Complaints Committee aims at providing a safe environment for students and staff in the college. It is formed according to the provisions of the POSH ACT-Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act of 2013.

Objectives

To prevent any form of sexual harassment in the campus
To conduct periodical programmes on women empowerment, gender rights
To create awareness regarding legal and ethical questions around sexual harassment
To take strict disciplinary action against the violators

Women's Cell

The Women Development Cell aims at making students aware of their rights and duties and to promote events supporting women empowerment. It provides a platform for Women to share their experiences and views about gender inequalities.

Objectives

To increase awareness of women related to social justice, health, and employment
To develop skills among girls by providing training sessions and workshops
To help students to realize female potential
To provide and maintain a dignified, congenial working environment

Grievance Redressal Committee

The Grievance Redressal Cell works at both department and institution level. The aim is to ensure that the campus is free from grievances and to provide an effective mechanism for redressal.

Objectives

To ensure officials are approachable, accountable and courteous
To provide fast and effective solution of student's grievances
To implement an effective mechanism to submit grievances
To develop a transparent mechanism for interaction
