Support and facilitate teaching, learning, and research programs

  • The library at present has a collection of 11176 books, 53 periodicals, and newspapers.
  • The Library will remain open on all working days from 8.30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Automated with the software Book Magic for the overall management of library operations.
  • Books are classified according to the Dewey Decimal Classification Scheme, 22nd edition.
  • Provide an open-access facility.
  • The library's members mainly include students, faculty, and college staff.
  • Ordinarily, books will not be issued to non-members. In exceptional cases, the Principal may permit non-members to have access to the library or to borrow books on terms determined by the Principal.

Library Rules

  • ID Card mandatory for book issue
  • Silence to be maintained
  • No personal belongings allowed
  • Mobile phones prohibited
  • Books from the Reference section will not be lent out.
  • Books for various Entrance Examinations are available in the Reference section.
  • UG students are allowed to borrow three books, and PG students 4 books.
  • Books borrowed by students shall not be retained for more than two weeks from the date of issue. Failure to comply with this may result in a fine.
  • Members must, on receiving books, examine them and report to the Librarian if any damage is found therein. If they fail to do so, they will be held responsible for any damage that may be detected afterwards. Any mark made in a book will be considered as damage.
  • Books borrowed from the Library may be recalled at any time.
  • Private books and personal belongings of the students are to be kept at the entrance before entering the library.
  • T.C. will be issued only after students clear all their dues in the library.
