Established in 2002, Dayapuram College, an academic volunteer

run intellectual centre, attempts to customize the foundational 

objectives of Dayapuram Educational and Cultural Centre such as social justice, communal harmony and constitutional nationalism through innovative education for female students at the undergraduate and post graduate levels. Dayapuram Arts and Science College, part of Dayapuram Educational and Cultural Centre, is built on the foundation and legacy of Dayapuram Vanitha College (1988- 2008), a parallel college which empowered hundreds of financially and socially backward 

girls of the locality into higher education.
